Softworks BB86 White Long Work Boots with Composite Toe Cap – Size 45
The Softworks BB86 long work boots are white, super-light EVA work boots with a composite toe cap, in EU size 45, and a tall leg that protects your shins from splashes on wet jobs. They are made for wet, slippery work areas such as commercial kitchens, butcheries, seafood prep and food processing, where you need toe protection without the weight of a traditional gumboot.
The rubber "Super Grip" sole is slip rated SRC, tested on ceramic tile with detergent and on steel with glycerol. The upper and inner sole have antimicrobial treatment, the boots are phthalate-free, and they can be washed down with soap and water or disinfected with diluted hypochlorite (bleach) solution. Softworks is a Brazilian maker of safety footwear.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does the SRC slip rating mean?
SRC means the sole has passed slip tests on both ceramic tile with a detergent solution and steel with glycerol, which are the two standard test surfaces for work footwear.
Is the toe cap steel?
No. It is a composite toe cap, which is metal free and lighter than steel.
How do the sizes work?
Softworks boots are sized in EU sizes. This pair is EU 45. If you are between sizes, go up a size and wear a thicker cotton sock.
How do I clean and disinfect them?
Wash them with soap and water or detergent. You can disinfect them with a 2.5% sodium hypochlorite solution. Dry them with a cloth or in the shade, never in the sun or next to a heater, as heat can damage EVA.
Are they comfortable for long shifts?
Yes. EVA is very light, the heel absorbs shock, and the antimicrobial inner sole helps keep them fresh. Wear them with cotton socks for the best comfort.
