Malvern Bright cutlery is a generous and elegant pattern, designed with simple clean lines and handles that flare gently to a soft square base. The range is named after the Malvern Hills, where Robert Welch often walked for inspiration.
Made from high quality 18/10 stainless steel, Malvern Bright cutlery offers a substantial feel, balanced weight, and a refined presence on the table. It forms part of Collection 3.5.
Robert Radford Welch MBE, RDI was one of the most respected British designers of the 20th century. He believed that beautifully designed products should be accessible for everyday use, combining function, quality, and lasting style.
After training as a silversmith at the Royal College of Art in London, Robert Welch specialised in stainless steel design and established a company in his own name in 1955.
Today, the company continues to honour his design legacy while advancing its work through modern techniques, materials, and technology.
Malvern Bright cutlery has been designed with clean, understated lines and gently flared handles that finish in a soft square base. Each piece has a substantial feel and weight, giving the range a strong and confident table presence.
The gently contoured shape makes Malvern Bright one of the most popular Robert Welch cutlery patterns. Its design takes inspiration from the rolling hills near the village where Robert Welch grew up.
We recommend washing your cutlery or flatware in the dishwasher for best results.
When washing cutlery or flatware by hand, rinse items as soon as possible after use to remove food residue. Wash in warm, soapy water using a microfibre cloth or a non-abrasive brush.
Avoid soaking cutlery for extended periods, and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
Important: Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the surface of the cutlery.
To help restore and maintain the finish of your cutlery or flatware, polish with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
