Radford takes its inspiration from the balanced proportions and refined contours of traditional eighteenth-century English cutlery. This classic design heritage gives the range its timeless appeal, making it suitable for both formal dining and everyday table settings.
The Radford pattern evolved from Premier, a cutlery design originally created in 1984 by Robert Radford Welch (1929-2000). Premier was designed as a modern interpretation of the shape, weight, and elegance of Georgian cutlery.
In 2003, the design was restyled, renamed, and re-launched as Radford in memory of Robert Radford Welch. This work was carried out by his son, Rupert Welch, with the assistance of Roberts friend and colleague, John Limbrey (1933-2013).
Award-winning and enduringly elegant, Radford Bright cutlery is a timeless English design inspired by traditional eighteenth-century cutlery. With more than 70 pieces available, the Radford range is one of the most extensive stainless steel cutlery collections in the world.
Radford Bright cutlery forms part of Collection 5.0. This pattern is also known as Caesna Mirror.
We recommend washing your cutlery or flatware in the dishwasher for best results.
When washing cutlery or flatware by hand, rinse items as soon as possible after use to remove food residue. Wash in warm, soapy water using a microfibre cloth or a non-abrasive brush.
Avoid soaking cutlery for extended periods, and always dry thoroughly immediately after washing.
Important: Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as these can scratch the surface of the cutlery.
To help restore and maintain the finish of your cutlery or flatware, polish with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
