The Sammic FCS-12G is a 12 mm slicing disc that cuts thick, straight slices and is also the base disc for dicing and chipping on Compact machines. It is a fast way to get consistent cuts in big batches, saving hours of knife work in a busy kitchen.

It is a 180 mm disc from the Sammic Compact line and suits Sammic CA-21 / CA-2V vegetable preparation machines and CK-241 / CK-24V combination cutter and veg prep machines. For slices it works on its own. For dice or chips, fit it together with the matching 12 mm FMS dicing grid or FFS chipping grid.

Which machines does this disc fit?

It suits Sammic CA-21 / CA-2V vegetable preparation machines and CK-241 / CK-24V combination cutter and veg prep machines. Compact 180 mm discs do not fit the Heavy Duty CA-31 / CA-41 or CK-35V to CK-48V machines.

What can I use it for?

Thick slices on its own, or paired with an FMS dicing grid or FFS chipping grid to make 12 mm cubes or chips.

How do I clean the disc?

Remove it after use and wash it in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry it and store it in a disc rack so the blades are protected. Take care with the sharp edges.

Does it need another disc to work?

For slices it works on its own. For dice or chips, fit it together with the matching 12 mm FMS dicing grid or FFS chipping grid.

When should I replace it?

Replace the disc or its blades when cuts become ragged or crushed, or produce takes longer to process. A worn disc slows down prep and wastes product.
