SAMMIC FMS-12, 12x12mm DICING GRID 1010584

Sammic FMS-12 12 x 12 mm Dicing Grid for Compact Veg Prep Machines (1010584)

The Sammic FMS-12 is a 12 x 12 mm dicing grid that turns your Compact veg prep machine into a dicer, making even cubes for soups, salads, salsas and stews. It is a fast way to get consistent cuts in big batches, saving hours of knife work in a busy kitchen.

It is a 180 mm disc from the Sammic Compact line and suits Sammic CA-21 / CA-2V vegetable preparation machines and CK-241 / CK-24V combination cutter and veg prep machines. Yes. A dicing grid works together with a slicing disc: fit the FCS-12G slicing disc above the FMS-12 grid. The slicer sets the cube height and the grid cuts the cubes.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which machines does this disc fit?

It suits Sammic CA-21 / CA-2V vegetable preparation machines and CK-241 / CK-24V combination cutter and veg prep machines. Compact 180 mm discs do not fit the Heavy Duty CA-31 / CA-41 or CK-35V to CK-48V machines.

What can I use it for?

Even dice of potato, carrot, onion, capsicum, apple and other firm produce for soups, stews, salads and salsas.

How do I clean the disc?

Remove it after use and wash it in warm soapy water or in the dishwasher. Dry it and store it in a disc rack so the blades are protected. Take care with the sharp edges.

Does it need another disc to work?

Yes. A dicing grid works together with a slicing disc: fit the FCS-12G slicing disc above the FMS-12 grid. The slicer sets the cube height and the grid cuts the cubes.

When should I replace it?

Replace the disc or its blades when cuts become ragged or crushed, or produce takes longer to process. A worn disc slows down prep and wastes product.
