Frequently Asked Questions

What size is it?

It holds 296 ml, stands 171 mm high and measures 58 mm across at the rim. Stated capacities are usually measured to the brim, so a standard pour sits a little lower.

Which beers suit this glass?

Lagers, pilsners, pale ales and wheat beers look great in it. The shape shows off the colour and helps hold the head.

How do I get the best head on a beer?

Start with a clean, rinsed glass that is free of grease and detergent residue, pour at an angle, then straighten up to finish. A "beer clean" glass makes a real difference to head and bubbles.

How should I clean and look after it?

Wash it as you would your other glassware, then air dry or polish with a lint-free cloth. Avoid sudden temperature changes, such as adding ice to a glass that is still hot from the washer. Store glasses upright and don't force them inside each other.

Are other Libbey Embassy pieces available?

Yes. We stock other pieces from the Libbey Embassy range, including the Libbey Embassy Brandy Glass 355 ml; the Libbey Embassy Poco Grande Glass 311 ml; the Libbey Embassy Poco Grande Glass 392 ml. Mixing pieces from one range keeps your table or back bar consistent. Contact us and we can put together the full set you need.
