The Mantova Zinc and Clear Lacquer Wire Grid Shelf is a replacement or add-on shelf for Mantova post-style shelving. It is 1800 mm long and 525 mm deep, with an open wire grid that lets air flow around your stock and stops dust and moisture from settling.

The frame is a strong 32 x 2.5 mm roll-formed section with 4 mm wires on 25 mm centres, finished in zinc with a clear lacquer coat. It is rated to 150 kg when the load is spread evenly, so it suits dry stores, cellars and general back-of-house storage. Use it to add an extra level to an existing Mantova unit, replace a damaged shelf, or build up a new bay.

Does this include posts?

No. This is a single shelf to suit Mantova post-style shelving. Posts are sold separately in 200, 1200, 1800 and 2000 mm heights, and our team can quote a complete unit if you need one.

How much weight will it hold?

At 1800 mm long, the shelf is rated to 150 kg with the load spread evenly. Avoid concentrating heavy items in one spot.

Can I use it in a coolroom?

Zinc and lacquer wire is best suited to dry areas. For coolrooms, freezers and wet areas, we recommend Mantova stainless steel wire or Real-Tuff ABS shelving, which are built to resist corrosion.

Will it fit my existing shelving?

It is designed for Mantova 25 mm square posts. If you have another brand of shelving, send us a photo or the measurements and we will check compatibility before you order.

How do I install it?

Clip the shelf onto the posts at the height you want, in 50 mm steps. Make sure all four corners are seated and level before loading.
