GRAVY / SAUCE BOAT S/S 285ml

Stainless Steel Gravy / Sauce Boat 285 ml

A stainless steel gravy and sauce boat with a 285 ml capacity, sized for sharing gravy, custard or sauce across a table of two to four. The spout gives a clean, controlled pour, and the handle keeps fingers away from hot sauce.

Stainless steel is tough, will not chip, and keeps its shine through constant use and commercial dishwashing. It is a classic piece for pubs, bistros, carveries, hotels and function venues serving roasts, steaks and puddings.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does it hold?

It holds 285 ml when filled to the brim. Fill it a little below that so it does not spill when carried.

Can I warm it before service?

Yes. Rinse it with hot water or keep it on a warm shelf before filling so hot gravy and sauces stay warm for longer at the table.

How do I clean it?

Wash it in the dishwasher or by hand with warm, soapy water. Soak it if sauce has dried on, and avoid steel wool, which can scratch the finish.

Which size should I choose?

Smaller boats (90 to 114 ml) suit individual serves beside a main. Larger boats like the 285 ml size are better for sharing across a table.

Is it only for gravy?

No. It works just as well for custard, cream, chocolate sauce, salad dressing, jus and pepper or mushroom sauce.
