STRAINER CONICAL FINE 300mm 18/8

Conical Strainer Fine 300 mm 18/8 Stainless Steel

This fine conical strainer has a 300 mm top and is made from 18/8 stainless steel. The cone shape directs liquid to a single point, so you can strain straight into a pot, jug or container without splashing. The fine perforations give smooth sauces, gravies, custards and purees.

The long handle lets you hold it steady over a pot while you ladle and press, and 18/8 stainless steel is tough, hygienic and dishwasher safe.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a conical strainer for?

Straining sauces, stocks, soups and purees directly into a pot or container.

Fine or coarse?

Fine gives smoother sauces and custards. Coarse is faster for stocks, soups and draining.

How do I push food through?

Use a ladle or a pestle in a circular motion against the sides.

How do I clean it?

Rinse straight after use so food does not dry in the holes, then wash in the dishwasher.

Do you have other sizes?

Yes. Conical strainers come in several diameters in fine and coarse.
